Sarah Stipho DMD, MS, grew up in Massachusetts and is a resident of Boston. She attended Worcester Academy and then received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College and her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts, she chose to further her training and specialize, receiving her certificate in Periodontology and Masters degree in Periodontology with an emphasis on bilateral sinus lift procedures. She is board certified by the American Board of Periodontology, a highly prestigious certification and highest level of achievement that displays proficient knowledge and expertise in the field.

While at Tufts, Dr. Stipho earned many awards and honors. She was a recipient of the Dr. O. Walter Donnenfeld Scholarship, the Proctor and Gamble Award and the Dr. Chad Anderson Family Award for innovative methodology and research design. She was inducted into the Robert R. Andrews Honors Society and was included in the Deans List for her performance on the National Board. She has presented her work at the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Association of Dental Research and the Yankee Dental Congress and has given many lectures in the field of Periodontology and Implants. She was elected one of Boston Top Dentists two years in a row and received the Massachusetts Dental Society 10 under 10 award and recently was named a 2019 Incisal Edge 40 under 40 national honoree.

Dr. Stipho served the profession and the community as chair of the Tufts Alumni Association of Women Dentists, board member of the National Student Research Group, former chair of the New Dentist Committee and member chair of the Boston District Dental Society. She is currently an assistant clinical professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Stipho has also participated in several outreach service programs whose mission is to reach underserved communities nationally and internationally. She is currently a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team of Implantology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Stipho is an accomplished watercolor artist and a pianist certified with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. She enjoys hiking, swimming, cycling and yoga and has a passion for travel and photography. She is experienced in many implant systems including Straumann, Zimmer Biomet, BioHorizons, Keystone and Nobel and is open to any other systems preferred for your practice. She loves every aspect of periodontology, strives to provide the best care possible to her patients and is excited to serve the community.
